"A Tree in a New Environment: Why it Faces Injustice" by Hansel Yuen
This student took a nine-class summer intensive with me to complete a poetry analysis essay (he specifically asked for literary analysis practice for the summer). He demonstrated focus, diligence, and perseverance, determined to complete the essay before the end of the summer. He readily listened to feedback and applied it, resulting in him reaching his goal.
